The Kalavrita Project, A Series Of 80 Offices Designed By Tseh Architectural Group

Tseh Architectural Group is responsible for this exciting and colorful project located in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The 80 Offices that compose the project are spread across two levels and they feature a variety of colors and types of work spaces. The project was completed in 2010. Taipei is only a city-dwelling town where people trade all the time and where there’s a center for all business and finance matters.

This center is where young and talented people from all over the world come to work and where the secrets are discovered one by one. The project was inspired by the “Four Corners Essentials”, a legendary 20th century book that chronicled the journey of an architect trying to understand the boundaries of the new urban world.

The design for these 80 Offices was created by Tseh Architectural Group. The firm was established in 1995 by Mr. Tae-Jun Du and Mr. Da-Hyun Chang. As the name of the project suggests, it’s a twenty-first century interpretation of the “Four Corners Essentials”. These ideas inspired the firm’s architectural designs that combine engineering and architecture with cutting-edge technologies and innovations.

The project started as an engagement with the residents of New Taipei City. The architects wanted to understand how spaces with different functions are interconnected and form a cohesive structure to better serve residents who use the space efficiently. This was the inspiration behind the design of this 80-square meter apartment.

The client cando comprises of three areas: living, working and relaxation. This apartment was designed to bring the owner an intimate and calm home, allowing him to focus on his work. The design of this place is dynamic and innovative. The apartment opens onto the exterior and features sliding glass walls and large windows that allow natural light to go inside during the day. They also provide panoramic views over the city.

They also feature custom made furniture such as the black metal and wood desk that the owner needed in the morning. This wall makes the perfect reading nook while the exposed brick and the steel elements add a industrial touch to the décor. The living area is particularly comfortable and inviting. It’s large and airy and it also has a bar with a top coffee table that creates a casual and relaxed atmosphere. The bedroom is large and has a balcony. It’s a quiet space, perfect for relaxation.
